Ok, so I am majorly in a good mood today. I got back my test in my art of Greece and Rome class, and I got a 94. So now I don't have to worry about the final, b/c it is the test I can drop and I will get a solid B.
I went to Target tonight with Sarah b/c I was avoiding studying, and she was avoiding studying, so we decided to shop together instead. I needed a new wallet, because mine was falling apart. I found a nice black leather one there. I found a great pair of pants on the sale rack for 75% off! So I had to buy those.
Then, for those of you not from Kentucky, this weekend is the Derby. I am going to be at work, but I still want to celebrate in some fashion, so I bought a hat to wear. It's all about the hat for this day. Sarah said she can give me a plastic horse to attach to it to make it more festive lol. I am going to decorate it in some fashion, but I will probably decide about that later.
I talked to Nick tonight. I can't believe how he has changed. It amazes me when I think about it. Calling me on his breaks and such, that never happened before. When we first started dating he told me "I get derby off" b/c he is going to be drinking basically the entire time. It is a big party at derby time, and I'm not going so I'm not a part of the party. So he shall be busy this weekend, but still promised to come see me on Sunday when the festivities have ended.
I am loving this CD more and more every time I listen to it.
Tomorrow is Gap shopping day! I will be busy all day, and probably have a lot less money when all is said and done. But I can't pass up deals, and I have lost weight so I really do actually need clothes that fit.
I keep wanting to use the word shall. I don't know why...

I still love Jon Peter Lewis! I want that boy to win it all dammit.
I went out after taking my anthropology exam (which was quite funny) to Target to get the NERD cd. I haven't listened to it all yet, but I can already tell I am going to like it. I reccommend them to everybody because it is so diverse that I think anybody could listen to it.
I am trying to get caught up on school stuff. Right now I am doing fairly well, but I need to work a lot tomorrow I think. I want to get A's this semester to bring up my GPA, so I need to stay at the same level I am at right now.
I don't know what else to say, so I will waste time reading my friends page.

So today in a few hours I am going home for spring break. I won't have much access to a computer because my dad still doesn't have one at the house. He is so behind in the times. Really, it's quite sad.
This weekend should be quite fun. I can't wait for John Mayer. I am sure his concert is going to be a blast.
And I'm sure there is more time with my other special friend to come, so we will see how that all goes.
Have a great week everybody, especially all of those that are going to NYC! You are all going to have a great time there.
I'll miss you all and I will try to catch up when I get back!

I've never posted a picture of myself because I don't have that sort of talent. Or a digital camera.
So here is a semi-picture of me in my icon.
How much fun is that?!
Only 2 days til my b-day! I am so excited.

We seriously just got the weirdest but funniest phone call ever. I picked up the phone and said hello, and it is like somebody is putting movie lines over the phone to any question I ask. Like I say "who are you" and they repeat a movie line with a persons name. Or I ask "why are you calling us" and they say something about calling the authorities. Finally after hanging up on them three times they called back and by then Liz was trying to sleep. I told him that my roommate is trying to sleep and their phone calls are harassing. The response to that was "fine then , hang up on me." So I said good bye and did.
I wish I could better explain it, but it really is something I guess you have to experience. I found it quite funny actually, but who the hell has that much time to figure that out perfectly. This is something I will definitely remember. That is why I love dorm phones lol.

It's been a while since I made an update, but right now I need to make one.
I just spent some delightful time speaking with Gateway Tech Support because my computer is being an ass. It is a laptop and the fan vent started being loud out of nowhere and I can't make it go away.
Well, I talked first with Annie who told me that I need to send it for repairs. She informed me that it would cost $44 for the shipping and that they would pay for return shopping.
Um, WHAT THE FUCK! I paid for 3 years of parts, labor, and support and I have to pay $44 on top of the couple thousand I already spent because a part broke. Hell no. So I ask this Annie if I can take my computer to the Gateway store. She tells me they do not do repairs, only upgrades. I knew she was lying, but she quickly said "I will transfer you to my supervisor."
He says the same thing, that I need to send it for repairs. So I'm thinking maybe they changed the store and don't do repairs there anymore. He asks for my address to fill out the service form. Then this is where I get really pissed.
He says "For security I need the following: 1. Credit card type 2. Name on front of card 3. Card number 4. Expiration date 5. 3 digit code from back of card"
Um, no. I'm not a dumbass. I don't give out my credit card info. to strangers on sites that aren't secure.
He said it was necessary, and I said well too bad.
Then I asked if it was true that they don't do repairs anymore in the stores because Annie told me this. He said "we only fix minor problems." Well, this is a fucking minor problem jackass. So the computer will be making a visit to the Gateway store this weekend.
I called my mom and she was glad that I didn't give them my info. I've never been asked anything like that before from a random tech support person when I'm not even being charged for anything.
Hopefully this will all get fixed soon.
Other than this great incident I have been doing quite well. I'm trying to get adjusted into the new house. I got my application letter in the mail from U of L and I just need to send some transcripts. This means I will be making a nice trip to great old Atherton High School because they need my high school one too. That should be interesting. Trips back there usually are.

I'm bored so I thought I'd do that ten song thing. I just can't go to sleep. So let's see how weird this turns out:
1. Elton John- I Want Love 2. Dave Matthews Band- Everyday 3. Outkast- Hey Ya 4. OPM- Fish out of Water 5. Jimmy Fallon- Snowball 6. Unwritten Law- Up All Night 7. Red Hot Chili Peppers- Give it Away 8. Save Ferris- Come on Eileen 9. Phantom Planet- California 10. Me First and the Gimme Gimmes- I Believe I Can Fly
That was interesting. I really have the widest range of musical taste. What is funny is that I haven't had any of those songs come on in a long time lol.

I don't know if anybody mentioned this but I thought it was really funny.
When I watched my tape of SNL yesterday I noticed that during the opening montage when Chris Parnell appeared on the screen he said "Chris Kattan" then after a short pause " Chris Parnell."
Isn't that funny? I though it was. I was confused when I heard it at first though.

Ok, so this morning I woke up to the suprise of snow. I knew there was going to be some, but I thought it was going to be later. So I got up when I was really tired, got ready and walked to class in the damn snow. The sidewalks were pretty slick, so that made it even more fun.
Then I got to class and there was barely anybody there. We did a group thing, with 2/4 of out members, for extra credit and then got to leave. Good times.
I just wish I would know that a class was cancelled before I go all the way there.
Driving home today should be fun because of the weather. Oh, and I still have 2 more classes and I know neither will be cancelled. In my interior design history class we are watching a movie. And out teacher is bringing popcorn, so it should be fairly fun. But then there is that test...
I tried to study more but I don't think I'm ready. Oh well.
I'm hungry. I think I'm going to get some lunch. I must brave the outdoors once again!

It is on Friday, March 12th. My fucking birthday!

So tomorrow is the deciding day. Add/Drop.
I have figured out classes to take, but I don't know how likely it is that I will get them. Most have 1 or 2 spots, if any at all.
Time for my luck to come through.
Next week I will be back at school and will actually be able to use the computer and update and read everything here. I miss everybody, even if you don't miss me.

I feel like I've been gone forever. I guess it has been quite a while.
I have the flu, like everybody else.
I took my geography final this morning, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I think I will get a B in the class, even with my horrible midterm.
Only one more final to go, and it will be an easy one. I am so glad to be nearly finished.
I have a fever, so I am hot one minute and cold the next. Blah.
I might go and study in the library again. Right now I really just want to sleep, and get some lunch. I'm tired and hungry.
This isn't a real entry at all. It's just to let you all know that I am still alive.

I built a desk today. Not my own. It was for Sarah.
I am a furniture building master.
Other than that, I pretended like I don't have anything to do. Nothing is due tomrrow, doesn't that count??
I talked on the computer to Brandon and Sarah, and that is about all I have accomplished. Yay for me!
Now I am tired. Off to sleepy land I go.

What the hell is it called "dead week" for if you have all of your projects and papers and stuff due?
I hate school.
I have been working nonstop today since 9:30 am, and I'm still not done.
Blah, I need to sleep.

It's the last day of studio. That is a great thing, except it means that our project is due tomorrow, which is very scary.
I had a great weekend, but I am really tired. Let's just say there wasn't much sleeping going on for me.
I will make a real update later. Maybe today, if I have time, but it might be tomorrow because I have bunches of stuff to do.

My studio project is never ending. I feel like I am furthur than most people though, so that is a positive. I am going to go home tonight instead of tomorrow to work on it. I am just going to plug in the cd player, play music and work until I am nearly finished. I still have one more class to work on it, but I really don't want to be stressed out on monday trying to finish by tuesday. It's not the kind of work that you can try to do quickly. Art gets fucked up when you try to just get it done.
I am making notecard now. I am going to hopefully finish them before class tonight, then I will be pretty much finished with that class. Then there is just the geography paper which is a complete joke. I am going to do that sometime. It's only 2-3 pages, so I can type up some crap quick. I chose Burkina Faso for it. Good times.
The weather sucks ass. I think its supposed to start snowing tomorrow. I like snow. I hate when it is 38 and raining. There is nothing worse than cold rain. It might as well be snowing.
Ok, back to work. I need to do stuff. Only a few days left, thank god.

I am about to leave to drive to my grandmothers. I think I am going to drive slow so that I don't get a ticket, and also because I'm not in a hurry. Oh, also I enjoy driving. It can be relaxing when you are just going straight and have the cruis control on. It's on the smaller roads with the crazy drivers that put me in a bad mood.
I hope everybody has a great thanksgiving. I am going to enjoy the next two days, but this weekend is going to be hellish. Retail sucks at this time of year. But I have my santa hat and I am going to make the best of it.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so awake. I don't know why. I feel like singing and dancing.
I guess I could since I am here alone.
I should study more, but I can't focus. God, I'm glad I don't have ADD/ADHD. I would go crazy being like this all the time.
Typing without your index finger is challenging, but I think I am getting much better at it.

Ok, so I did a dumb thing. I was trying to close my closet - it slides from side to side - and I closed it right on my finger. That was about three hours ago and it still really hurts. It is the index finger on my left hand, and it is a nice shade of blue/purple now. Typing is difficult because I can't use that finger and I am so used to.
I'm making cds for my trip to west virginia! Any suggestions for good songs or bands/artists to check out???
My roommate is leaving tomorrow, and I only really have to study for this test I have on wednesday. I don't even think it is going to be difficult at all. I will be here all by myself. Maybe I will try to work on my geography paper and be even more caught up.
Tonight I went to target with sarah and got some gloves because it got damn cold and I left mine at home. I can't have none all week. We went to the christmas section and I bought a santa hat! I am totally going to wear it to work next weekend. It's that time of year again!
Perspective drawings suck. If you've done them, I am sure you understand what I am saying. Not fun at all!
I should go to sleep. It's late and I've got class in the morning. Plus I don't think my finger can take much more.
